First contact with Support in English. Communication could be clearer at times, to ensure the customer understands the process in one email but it's all good.
After Thomann received my guitar, a guitar tech quickly got in touch to ask about fretwire size, string brand, and nut material. A week later my guitar's back ⚡️
The frets are perfect, the nut as well. My fretboard was also touched up/flattened.
I think they also touched up more things that I didn't request:
- I'm pretty sure they buffed the lacquer of the back of the neck, because I had a spot of lacquer that used to stick out since the day I bought my guitar and it's gone ✅
- They changed my saddles. I had bought new ones recently and they were slightly narrower than the original ones. That didn't bother me. Nonetheless, my guitar came back with wider saddles, closer if not identical to the ones I had when I bought my guitar ✅
That's really nice to see service like this, when it goes beyond "here are new frets, because that's what you paid for, nothing more.", especially at this speed of execution. Great job!
