Very useful and sturdy

I am a professional Guitarist and composer for film and TV

I have a lot of equipment and this case has served me time and again for various things!

I have used this for 5 years with my metal band to put our laptops and interfaces in to run backing tracks in venues up and down the UK. It has been toured expensively and has had thousands of pounds worth of equipment housed in it (Axefx, Kempers, Macs, Interfaces).

We even had a drummer from another band put a can of energy drink on top of this case and spilt the whole lot over it, the equipment on the inside was completely fine and we just needed to wipe the case down as it was very sticky.

It is very sturdily built, i know it is thomanns own brand and you would think Gator would be better but this is on par with the Gator stuff!

The price is great for what it is, i would recommend on of these to anyone who needs to store multiple pieces of equipment.

I would say do not get a 10 unit one or anything else that is bigger. when you load this up it becomes very very heavy very fast and the handles hurt to carry it. It took two of us to carry it into venues from the car and sometimes you had to park far away.

I would suggest getting a rack drawer with one of these to keep all of your bits and bobs safe. you can also lock this at gigs so it is a good place to keep iems and phones in here as these are easy to steal.

Pros:
Looks good
Professional quality
Great price
Will keep your equipment safe
Almost waterproof
Very useful for storage

Cons:
gets really heavy with load of stuff in it
Handles dig into your hands when it is loaded up.

Good locks, plenty of rack screws (enough for one side filled with 1U equipment), tough enough to put other stuff on it, like more racks; totally not tough enough to sit on (and shouldn't be). Works great to organize space in our practice room and to make taking the gear to gigs easier. Moving stuff around without a rack wears equipment really fast, and cheap racks like this are good way to avoid this, if your gear is rack-mountable.

Value for money and Fancy
Roshan Sonah 08.02.2018
This is a great Rack, so fancy, and value for money. Its so easy to carry. Your equipment fit exactly in the rack without too much or xtra space left at the back which is a good thing for me. This has been one of my best investment so far and i would like to buy a couple more of these.

It took me only 10 minutes to fit in my three heavy power amplifier in it (screws provided in the rack). At first i thought it would not support three heavy power amplifier but i was wrong. This beast is unbelievable.

One thing i did not like about the rack is the materials used. Though it supports heavy equipment, the plastic should have been a little more strong which would made this unit the best rack on the market.

Despite the con and taking the price into consideration i think its a good investment and the right choice. Cheers!!!!

I have absolutly nothing bad to say about this case. when I was buying it i taught ok just get that one the price suit me for now and i'll just buy a better one as soon as this breaks..... Well i couldn't have been more wrong 4 years later and there isn't so much as a scratch on it. Its as good as the day i got it and has done its job very well considering the amount of time it was in and out of the back of the van. The handles are a bit rough on the hands but otherwise a great buy i will have this for many more years to come.

I
Lightweight for the win
ImTheSoundGuy 24.10.2019
I needed a really lightweight flight case for some 19" preamps and this was the perfect choice for me. I do not recommend it for heavy stuff like amplifiers because it's painfull to carry this one around. Excepting that, it's a good deal for keeping equipment safe even if you're in a studio or in a live situation.

Good for the money!

Lightweight and reasonably sturdy, this is a well thought out rack.
Rails at front and back, a huge zippered pocket inside one of the lids, sturdy metal handles on both sides. These are features you don't find in racks that cost double (or more).
While I wouldn't trust the rack for an intense, year-long tour, with a little bit of care, it should handle a weekend warrior's schedule for years.
I wouldn't recommend this for use as an amp rack full of the traditional, "lead-sled" power amps, but it should handle the lighter-weight class-D amps very well.
Ours has been used for a digital snake box with a single lead-sled amp in the bottom and wireless mics in the top. I felt as long as it didn't get tossed around too much, it would handle that load well.
It looks good and works well. At this price, why not go for it?
