Good Thomann product.

Useful for home exercises. The plates are a little narrower(350mm). Very good workmanship with strong, pleasing materials. The instrument is heavy, solid and the stand light.

Very good xylophone!
TheEmraldWolf 30.04.2023
I will admit I don't have any experience of other more orchestral xylophones, so I can't give a professional viewpoint, but this is a very solid and cheap (yet great quality) instrument that is easy to set up and play!

For the price, the instrument is of very good quality. But what stands out is Thomann's customer service. After a year of playing I encountered a crack in one of the bars and Thomann sent me a new one free of charge.

Great xylophone for practice, but odd mallets
vallieplushie 02.07.2024
The xylophone works great for practice and sounds surprisingly good. The case is solid and the whole thing is easy to pack away and move. The only downside are the included mallets, which have thick plastic/rubber handles that are nothing like standard xylophone mallets. I'd strongly recommend getting soft or medium rubber mallets with a rattan shaft (Artifact Percussion, Chalklin, Malletech, etc. all sell these) as these are much closer to the mallets you would use on a concert instrument in performance. The included mallets work nicely for suspended cymbal though!
Overall an awesome xylophone for practice at home, but with strange mallets included!
