Lovely Ting!

So I got this bowl for my girlfriend, for her yoga classes. It is on the cheaper end and not very big which makes it easily portable and light. Saying that, a light weight bowl has less clarity of ring but has some nice overtones within it. Because it is small, the around-the-rim technique is a little trickier and it is quite hard to get water to fizz in it if that is what you are after. But, perhaps a bigger bowl with a bigger sound is better for energizing water. All in all, it is well made, the wooden mallet has no felt on it, and is a nice tone for a small bowl. Recommended highly for a small budget.

A perfect gift

I was looking for a gift for my mum who can be difficult to buy for. She teaches TaiChi and I thought she might appreciate this so I ordered it and had it delivered straight to her door. She loved it! Sounds nice and really helps set the mood.

Tibetan Singing Bowl No2

I bought two bowls, they differ in tuning by about a third. They harmonize very well with each other. The sound is coherent with a long sustain. The bowls differ slightly in weight and size. They look very nice and give a lot of fun. A great introduction to the world of bowl vibrations. I recommend it to all interested.

Small, cosy-to-hold and easy singer

Ordered this bowl along with 4 crystal ones. The reason was its sample sound, which drew my ear and liking to it. And it was no mistake. After a couple of circles around it with the wooden mallet, it opened up its voice to easily resonate around. It is one of my favourites, mood-maker for good moments.

I thought it was reasonable price.
But the quality of this bowl is not so good.
You only can make sound by hitting the side of the bowl, not by rubing the surface.
I like the small size, but I would not recommend this singing bowl.

Not the same product

Fist of all, quality and sound for pretty low price is actualy very good. Buuuut... Bowl that I got is not the bowl I ordered. The one on photo have a natural traditional finish, which looks beautiful. One I got have evenly smooth shiny finish, which looks much less interesting. All in all, not the same bowl!

Lovely and resonant, very nice quality metal, i mainly got this for sampling and using in ambient jams but it it is very relaxing to just sorta listen to sometimes as well. Doubles nicely as a lil' cup to put your all your plectrums in when you're not using it too!
