I purchased the Thomann 40" (100cm) wind gong together with the same size Tam Tam. They are really great quality and the sound is amazing. They are fantastic value and every bit as good as the well known brands, if not better. Rollers create the most incredible wash and flumie sounds go on forever. I would highly rate the Thomann gongs and as always the service and speedy delivery are excellent.
Not a negative, but you have to experiment with roping the wind gong. Otherwise it can vibrate. I knotted both sides to give clearance on the face of the gong. That way it's perfect. For future development, perhaps the wholes could be placed differently.
