Ok but needs a minor redesign.
Kevo 20.01.2020
I bought this to hold my T.Bone IEM transmitter pack on my waste belt as the clip on the transmitter is flimsy and I can see it breaking or dislodging easily.

I chose this as it was the cheapest option & Thomann products are, mostly, well designed and of good quality. This product is for the most part meets those standards.

Pros:
It holds the transmitter well in the vertical position.
Well made and good materials.
Easy access to controls on the transmitter.
Great price.

Cons:
Before I start, it is important to note that there are alternatives available in Thomann to meet these requirements.
As there is no belt loop on the back to fit your waist band, you have to fit horizontally or modify to hold vertically. I knew this at the time of purchase but I thought it would hold the transmitter much more firmly. The retaining strap does not hold the transmitter firmly. There is still a small amount of play. It is perfect for fitting to the guitar strap or in the vertical position. The addition of a loop to allow you to fix to your waist belt would be a major benefit. I would be happy to pay more for this functionality.

I have been able to make a minor modification to it to allow me to wear it vertically on my waist belt. I would recommend it for guitar transmitter being held on the guitar strap but for your waist band. So Thomann is 95% of the way there with this product. But it prevents its use for IEM packs being worn on the waist. Which reduces the customer pool for the sake of minor modification in manufacturing.

C
Works where Line 6 clips don't
Consettbaths 23.11.2017
I bought this as the clip on my Line 6 G30 transmitter broke (don't they all?) It hooks onto my belt nicely (Top tip, if you move it around to your hip you can pretend to be a cowboy).

Quality. I like the leatherette finish and the press stud, it's stood up to the rigors of sweaty banjo playing and so far has never dropped the transmitter despite the odd bit of over exuberance in the live arena (or Three Bulls heads as it is otherwise known).

Sound. Not great, it makes a sort of clothy slapping noise if you throw it off the wall or floor but this isn't a problem, I bought the holder to protect the transmitter, it does this fine.

Summary. Good for holding transmitter or mid gig snacks/ pretending to be a Cowboy. Bad as a percussion instrument.

Good solution for live gigs
7Hokuto 08.01.2018
This product works quite good if you want to keep your wireless transmitter safe during live gigs. It could be useful even if you have some kind of strap on you and your purpose is to hold your in-ear receiver somewhere. It is awesome for the price and is very resiliant.
Best features are the ease with wich you can connect your jack from below and the quick access to controls on the top of your transmitter, if any (for example: the line6 one).
The cons are that it's not the most comfortable to set up and it has no kind of covering on the upper side of the device you use it for. This means that you may want to secure it somehow with extra tape to be bullet proof, but in my opinion there's no need for it, since it already has enough grip and you can tighten it even more with its own strap.

Not Great, But OK.
Anonymous 18.03.2015
I got this to house the transmitter for my Line 6 G30 and it's not a great fit.

The quality of the leather seems sound, but I can't really work out how it's meant to attach to my bass strap! The popper seems superfluous and the hook-and-loop kinda gets in the way of holding the transmitter soundly.

It had a kind of "talcy" dust all over it when it arrived, but that was no biggie. It did, however, have than nice new leather smell, so a bonus there!

I think this would suit your bigger transmitters (Shure, etc) and I think that Thomann's returns policy would cover you if you weren't happy with it.

Nice product and well made, but ultimately not for me.
