Ok but needs a minor redesign.
Kevo 20.01.2020
I bought this to hold my T.Bone IEM transmitter pack on my waste belt as the clip on the transmitter is flimsy and I can see it breaking or dislodging easily.

I chose this as it was the cheapest option & Thomann products are, mostly, well designed and of good quality. This product is for the most part meets those standards.

Pros:
It holds the transmitter well in the vertical position.
Well made and good materials.
Easy access to controls on the transmitter.
Great price.

Cons:
Before I start, it is important to note that there are alternatives available in Thomann to meet these requirements.
As there is no belt loop on the back to fit your waist band, you have to fit horizontally or modify to hold vertically. I knew this at the time of purchase but I thought it would hold the transmitter much more firmly. The retaining strap does not hold the transmitter firmly. There is still a small amount of play. It is perfect for fitting to the guitar strap or in the vertical position. The addition of a loop to allow you to fix to your waist belt would be a major benefit. I would be happy to pay more for this functionality.

I have been able to make a minor modification to it to allow me to wear it vertically on my waist belt. I would recommend it for guitar transmitter being held on the guitar strap but for your waist band. So Thomann is 95% of the way there with this product. But it prevents its use for IEM packs being worn on the waist. Which reduces the customer pool for the sake of minor modification in manufacturing.

C
Works where Line 6 clips don't
Consettbaths 23.11.2017
I bought this as the clip on my Line 6 G30 transmitter broke (don't they all?) It hooks onto my belt nicely (Top tip, if you move it around to your hip you can pretend to be a cowboy).

Quality. I like the leatherette finish and the press stud, it's stood up to the rigors of sweaty banjo playing and so far has never dropped the transmitter despite the odd bit of over exuberance in the live arena (or Three Bulls heads as it is otherwise known).

Sound. Not great, it makes a sort of clothy slapping noise if you throw it off the wall or floor but this isn't a problem, I bought the holder to protect the transmitter, it does this fine.

Summary. Good for holding transmitter or mid gig snacks/ pretending to be a Cowboy. Bad as a percussion instrument.

Good solution for live gigs
7Hokuto 08.01.2018
This product works quite good if you want to keep your wireless transmitter safe during live gigs. It could be useful even if you have some kind of strap on you and your purpose is to hold your in-ear receiver somewhere. It is awesome for the price and is very resiliant.
Best features are the ease with wich you can connect your jack from below and the quick access to controls on the top of your transmitter, if any (for example: the line6 one).
The cons are that it's not the most comfortable to set up and it has no kind of covering on the upper side of the device you use it for. This means that you may want to secure it somehow with extra tape to be bullet proof, but in my opinion there's no need for it, since it already has enough grip and you can tighten it even more with its own strap.

Not Great, But OK.
Anonymous 18.03.2015
I got this to house the transmitter for my Line 6 G30 and it's not a great fit.

The quality of the leather seems sound, but I can't really work out how it's meant to attach to my bass strap! The popper seems superfluous and the hook-and-loop kinda gets in the way of holding the transmitter soundly.

It had a kind of "talcy" dust all over it when it arrived, but that was no biggie. It did, however, have than nice new leather smell, so a bonus there!

I think this would suit your bigger transmitters (Shure, etc) and I think that Thomann's returns policy would cover you if you weren't happy with it.

Nice product and well made, but ultimately not for me.

D
Securely holds my Shure wireless transmitter
Daniel3332 07.05.2014
I bough two of these to fit to guitar straps to use with my Shure T1 wireless guitar transmitter. Although they're intended for Thomann's own t.bone transmitter, they worked perfectly fine, holding the Shure transmitter securely on the guitar strap.

They have a velcro cover on the back that wraps around the guitar strap and a plastic buckle that you can feed a thinner guitar strap through - the vintage type that have a looped leather piece for adjusting the length of the strap. Not everyone uses these straps but it's nice to have another option for securing the holder.

There is plenty of access to the transmitter to allow for antenna, wires and to account for those who prefer to put the transmitter in upside down.

You are getting a great piece of equipment for very little money.

The only downsides I found were:

...that there is no top strap. Although the transmitter seemed secure, I would prefer a little velcro strap over the top to be sure. In fact I made one for mine using a bit of velcro left over from my pedal board. An easy fix that took a matter of seconds. Please remember that this item is intended for Thomann's own t.bone system and that might be even more secure without the need for my 'fix' as I note that there is also a press stud in the holder that might clip onto the t.bone.

...that one of the two I bought was not very well finished - jagged edges on the faux-leather material. I know that Thomann would have changed it, but for the cost I'm happy to live with it

I scored it 4 on quality and features to reflect those points mentioned above. I scored 3 on sound as I had to put something in order to submit the review!

All in all, another fantastic product from Thomann

Mod it for best performance.
Supercollide 18.07.2016
Picked this up with a Line6 Relay G30, a plastic wireless system which many reviews comment about the fragility of it?s transmitter.
This holder is about £5.00 and it?s a lot more ?strappy? than it?s £20.00 rivals but I specifically wanted something a bit more open for ease of channel changing and on/off switching.
It connects onto the strap well enough with a little up/down movement on the strap but nothing drastic. However if you slot the beltclip of the transmitter into the strap slot it sits extra tight.
It is fairly open at the top and I can see a lot of people passing on this due to the possibility of it slipping out. Tighten the velco strap and it?s fairly secure, slot the beltclip into the strap slot as well and it?s better but I also strap a hairband into the straps to loop over the transmitter and it then doesn?t budge at all.

I?ve still got access to all the buttons.

I?ve now used this for 2 large Heavy Metal gigs and about 12 rehearsals. I?m not one for keeping still and I throw my bass about, a lot! (just ask my photographers)
This holder (and my bass) has been up. Down, left, right, round and round and worse and the transmitter hasn?t budged.

TLDR:
It?s cheap but a bit of work and it?s solid.

N.B. Sound rated as 1/5 as it's not a 'sound' item.

Best option
Nickera 12.01.2019
Best option in thomann for sure to use as a wireless transmitter holder on a guitar strap. Good leather quality and holding up well. I'm not half as worries as I was before about my transmitter. Totally will buy more for other guitars as well.
