Thomastik Infeld Vision is a dependable and practical value.
In professional use, this string easily stretched and adjust to tuning. In a tough environment like in Philippines, surprisingly this string never really get out of tune when going in and out of air conditioned rooms specially humid places like ours. Sound and feel wise, has the usual Thomastik quality, price is cheaper than dominant.
This is highly recommended for intermediate to professional who are budget conscious.

A good alternative
Michael C. 3 26.10.2016
I ordered a few sets of these last year for my students. They're a good alternative to dominant strings which seem to be the standard violin string, at least among the players and professionals in my locality. I think they are perfect for students as they are bright, but not thin sounding. You don't have to work hard to achieve a sound and this can be encouraging for intermediate students who have not yet fully developed their own sound. They provide a more instant response which I feel students find more satisfying as they are learning. I also use them on one of my electric violins. They're bright sounding and cut through the mix well in a live setting.

Nice strings

I like these strings. I go not get the fog horn with the G string like on some others. The sound seems balanced and not overly strident or loud. Overall I am satisfied.

Very good value
Jenna 03.04.2014
I am reviewing the medium tension set here. These strings have a very quick break-in time, compared to Dominants. They are a little brighter sounding and have good stability... I use them for traditional old-time fiddle playing, and often retune to GDgd, GDad etc. So this factor is important. I'd rate these as very good for people who want to try a change from steel strings. I'd also say that they are a viable alternative to Dominants if you are looking for a less dark sounding string.
