Excellent hurdy gurdy low G chanter

Thomastik Vision Titanium Solo’s are one of my go-to gurdy melody strings (the others being Spirocore). They have a great sound, especially in the lower octave, but are much more delicate than spirocores, and require a lot of care while disengaging and replacing cotton. They sound best on a modern instrument with very little string pressure against the wheel, and will break immediately if used on a loud traditional setup with heavy pressure and sharp wheel rim!
