I bought this for my Thon Studio Rack 20U. It was said by an employee that it should be compatable. It's not; it doesn't fit as it should. With that I mean it should start at the bottom and that's where the problem is. It doesn't start there, but at least 1cm above. Besides that it's not so nice to see, it also doesn't have the support from the bottom plate, which is necessary, if the rack is full.

Additional Rack Strip
Anonymous 24.08.2016
So I decided to rack mount as much of my gear as I could with the aim of making my music room as neat as possible an minimising the amount of "trip hazard" on the floor as my long suffering wife has the ability to trip up on her own shadow :)
I wanted to fit a few Adam Hall 87556 sliding rails to the excellent Thon 20U Studio I was purchasing. The sliding rails need mounting at the rear as well as the front so this rack strip was purchased.
After carefully measuring the required front-rear distance my sliding rails required I marked the rack itself, made some pilot holes and fitted the strip with the screws provided.
The fitted nuts make mounting equipment at the space you want (rather than the rack forcing you to use specific spacing) is excellent. I normally use a small Philips screwdriver.
