This hard case is very firm. It's heavier than the spd-sx itself but you can fit quite a lot in the case. I got my triggers, spd-sx plug, jacks and my sticks to fit in there. I feel very comfortable traveling with the case. It would take a whole lot to break it and have any damage done to the content of the case.

Feels pretty tough, maybe not aeroplane-hold-tough, fits the SPD SX snuggly with room for its mount (attached) and triggers, cables etc underneath. Smells god awful though, I think its the glue and I'm hoping it goes away eventually.

Ideal case to protect expensive tool

This case is really made to protect the roland spd-sx while transporting from gig to gig. Underneath the sampler there is room for cables, triggers etc... Worth its money if you're looking for solid protection, much more solid than a bag for instance.
