Very solid case!
Johannes924 28.04.2017
Solidly built and not too heavy case with 14 live vocal mic-shaped cutouts for microphones. Mics rest safely inside! Note that the cutouts can be a tad small for some mics, Shure SM57s and SM58s fit nicely, being appr. 160 mm long. My Blue Encore mics are a bit too long, but they can squeeze in there, the foam being soft enough. I've learned to appreciate the extra room for clips, thread adapters and such.

A
A really good mic case for the studio and live...
Anonymous 23.02.2016
First off, this case is impressive in its ability to keep the items placed within safe, regardless of gigging wear and tear - it has a robust structure, capable of taking some significant knocks without damaging the internal cargo.

The case looks professional, it has a very basic colour pallet; however, it is perfect for live, able to be stored in a corner or under a stage without attention being drawn to it.

The metal edges keep the case rigid at the edges and are able to take some hard knocks - there is no discernable "give" in the metal, meaning that it is sturdy. The black panels however, have a little give in them - which is to be expected from the centre of a plywood square. Totally, a highly sturdy case, with a high level of protection and professional look.

Pros: These are fairly simple, a sturdy case that provides a reasonable amount of protection (especially for a reasonably priced case); a professional look; carries 14 mics and a large assortment of clips within the troughs provided in the foam.

Cons: The foam cut outs will hold most standard dynamic microphones - SM58, SM57, Audix i5 etc... however, the holes are not suited to hold small diaphragm microphones such as the Rode NT3, or large diaphragm mics like the NT1-A, however the large cut outs in the centre could hold some larger mics - which would cut down on clip storage space.

In conclusion, the product does its job extremely well - it has a superbly sturdy structure and looks professional at the same time; it has pre-cut holes for microphones and accessories as well as being able to carry 14 mics - this will mostly cover what is required by a mic case and any cons can be overlooked or worked around.

The case is well built, the foam is nice and stiff and the pockets on the side are great to store all your leftover microphone bags.

HL
Decent Flight case for decent money
Heikki L. 22.09.2013
This flight case does what it is supposed to do: It gives good protection for microphones and makes it easy to carry them around. The quality of the case seems to be very good in overall. The only thing I was disappointed with was the carrying handle. The model of the handle is different than the one in the picture in Thomanns webpage. The handle that I received looks to be inferior quality compared to the one I thought I was getting. Only time will tell if it can take the wear and tear on the road without falling apart. Others than that I'm happy with the case.

S
Excellent Mic case
SoulWorks 30.05.2019
I love this product. It's sturdy and well constructed, and therefore provides great protection to the expensive equipment inside. The foam lining is perfect for a large variety of mics, and it's so good to be able to flip open the case and reach for a mic, without having to rummage through a box of gear. Well worth buying!

Peace of Mind...

A great budget mic case to protect your investments. Used this for many years for transporting Shure, Sennheiser and a selection of general purpose mics around for live work. Offers good protection and holds everything securely in place.

Still The Best
Leeboy 25.02.2014
I've tried others and this is still the best case for a moderate collection of microphones.

A sensible case for storing and transporting your mics
SCHA 09.09.2019
Foam inlay is cut with dynamic mics (SM58 style) in mind, but the foam is supportive of the microphones you put in it, and there is space for cables and accessories (mic clips, foam covers, etc) either side.
Big to carry (if you're not very tall) but hard to nick due to the size. A great investment.

Very handy to use
Guillaume aus L. 22.12.2018
I use this case to transport a set of shure microphones (Sm58, Dm58, Sm86). Works perfect. The case is solid and light weight. I feel my microphones are well protected.

Quality Case
@LightNoisePro 13.10.2017
Very good mic case, we have 9 SM58 and 5 SM57 in ours no problem, also room down each side for 5x Behringer DI120, a couple of cheap talkback mics and a load of Mic Clips,

The mics didnt look that snug when i first put them in but they dont shift around and there is plenty of foam inside. Prior to getting the case the mics heads were getting dented, ive replaced the worst of them and they havent sustained any further damage in this case so im super happy
