I needed a temporary BB1 clone while one is getting new jacks.
I have 3 original BB1s and I have used them since they came out.
My main pedalbord has 2 BB1 on two separate loops.
This pedal is soo close, only difference is the volume runs hotter,
so I have the volume around 10 o'clock whereas the original I run around 14 o'clock.
The treble needs to be set a little lower, around 12 o'clock to match the original at 14 o'clock.
Since I'm soo pleased it allows me to add another pedal, a BOSS MZ-2 which is a hidden gem.
So there's a good chance the old one is not coming back ;-) The small footprint is maybe the downside. I needed to position it differently as to get enough room for my foot to engage it, that's about it.

Great pedal for the Bluesbreaker sound
tomaspaul 23.03.2023
I got this pedal to pair with my tube screamer to try to achieve John Mayer's Continuum era tone (he famously paired a tube screamer with a Mashall Bluesbreaker). I'm really happy with how the Bluesman has performed in this context
