Pretty good for the price

I play an electronic drumkit in a professional party band and was looking for some expansions cymbals for triggering splash and china sounds, rather than having them on rims/pads. This particular one caught my eye as it was specifically designed for it, so I bought this along with Triggera's 14" China Cymbal Pad.
Both pads are of basically the same build quality, hard rubber over metal. So they seem to be very hard wearing, but they do make more noisy than standard cymbal triggers. This is fine for what I use them for, but it may be noticable if used on a home kit. I did also find that if they weren't mounted tightly enough, they would sometimes mistrigger due to vibrations from the cymbal arm transmitting into the metal inner part. Other than that, I am very pleased. I didn't have to pay over the odds and they do exactly what I hoped.

I didn't expect too much for this e cymbal to be compared just like the heavy names like yamaha roland or atv but it really does the job, just one thing to notice ,it sometimes triggered and sometimes not cause i found myself hit very hard to hear the sound, another thing is the feel of the rubber with the metal inside the cymbal you just have to get used to it.

HARD !

It's a simple MONO crashpad, no choke!
Made of steel and a rubber surface.
It produces a VERY loud noise when hit, even though the rubber seems soft enough. But, It does what it is supposed to do. . . . . . .make a sound when i hit it !

A bit less than expected

The cymbal is ok. It works properly. After connecting to Alesis Nitro Mesh I could start playing right away.
However it is very rough. It is heavy and loud. The covering rubber is fragile and after one session you could see drumstick marks all over it.
The built quality is questionable. In less tan two years I had to solder the wires three times because the brake when playing, and I'm not a heavy user.
It is cheap and unfortunatelly looks like that, but functionality is just as expected.

Old skool no more. 12.08.2024
Please do not bother just spend a little bit more. The quality is very poor. Mine went in the bin and I bought a slightly more expensive one that was 100% better.
