Unlike others, I've had no trouble connecting this and setting it up. And very little setup is required — it sounds like a beast out of the box.
Yes, you can get "that sound" — for me, that was 2000s Machine Head. But it's not just "pretending", it cuts through a band mix with absolutely no remorse. There is so much mids and overtones, and the included cabs sound crushing.

I've tried it at home, I've played it at rehearsal, every chord comes through, every lead note soars and makes me giddy inside.

Now for the bad — it's incredibly inconvenient to use. You can only use one preset at a time, or switch to live mode to get the sound you "see" on the pots right now. First thought: sure, you can use "preset" and "live" together to get two patches for rhythm and lead that way. But you can't do clean - rhythm - lead with this one, you only get to pick two.

Once you move it around to get to a rehearsal or gig, reality sets in, and buttons get rotated. So your "live" mode sounds nothing like you intended, and if the preset needs adjustments too, you don't know where the knobs were when you saved it.

You need to treat it like an actual amp — learn the knobs, what they do, and where the sweet spots are. And get comfortable with always tweaking before playing (with band). For the price, you can get some very good modelers with more effects and presets, or preamps with more channels. So, I view this as a "luxury" pedal. It's picky and pretentious, it's annoying, but it sounds amazing and you kind of can't be mad at it.
