Vandoren Classic Blue Tenor Sax 3.0

Very high quality reed, suitable for just about any style. Personally I use them for classic tenor on a selmer soloist mouthpiece, to which this reed and strength is well suited, although I would say that this is a very versatile reed that can be used for anything in a pinch. Would have to say that there is some inconsistency of the reeds within a box, with some being much better than others, but no more so than I have experienced you would find with any other reed maker.

There is a Great gap between 2,5 and 3 reeds

Probably the best standard reed out there. Gives a very nice tone and sound quality without being too hard or too soft. I would recommend it to everyone, it's worth giving a try since it's price is also quite fair.

These reeds are great! I use them for sax quartet, solo and jazz playing and they have proved to be suitable for all 3. I use a Rovner light ligature in combination with these and I find this setup to be very good.

This reed sounds very dark and it is very hard.
