Long reach, durable good accentuation
Jan Benoit 21.10.2020
I use various sticks, depending the situation and genre but this is my go to stick for playing metal. the rebound of the stick makes fast chops easier, they tend to be a bit heavier in the wrist then a "normal" 5B drumstick, but this gives you an increase in power and projection. I prefer the nylon tip version because you get a clearer ping when you want to place subtle accents, for instance using your bel or firmly closed highhat. The donwside of the nylon tip is that your toms sound a tiny bit higher compared to wooden tips. a clear advantage for heavy players is that the nylon tip does not break that easily compared to wooden tips. Broken wooden tips have a very big impact on your rebound and sound consitency. Starting to play with these sticks you will need to adjust to their length in the beginning, the extra length, once used to, mean that you don't need to stretch your arms that far anymore to get to the extremity of your kit. When those stick break, they generaly split in the taper part. When they start to break you will feel a difference in rebound between the two sticks, and when you use them on an excercise pad you will clearly hear a sound difference between the two sticks.

t
nice sticks but
td30kvuser 03.11.2018
i bought these for the added length but they are very low weight which means they are good to output more speed but wood is very fragile, and gets marked easily, so they are not good to last, even on a e-drum like roland td.30, in which i use to practice. Also, the nylon tips are not very smooth at the joints, and i am afraid that they may end up ruin your mesh pads quicker.

They were okay

I bought these whilst conducting a test to find the perfect drumstick. For me these sticks were too big and heavy and I found that they were completely unnecessary. I haven't played them since initial testing

A
Great sticks!
Anonymous 02.11.2016
Pros:
These sticks really took me by surprise, the feel and response is lovely, and its easy to maintain a relaxed high speed with them.
(Fast singlestrokes, blastbeats etc)
Also, the weight and nylon tip really works good on the ride.
I just love how they feel in the hands, they seem incredibly balanced and precise to play with.
I usually never get this excited over a new pair of sticks.

Cons:
Hard to be negative with these sticks, but they are quite big and heavy, they might be a bit rough on the drum heads, perhaps?
