Probably the best sticks I have ever played.
nicokour 16.06.2020
This pair of sticks has the best balance out of a couple dozen sticks I have tried out. They are perfect for fast playing and of course for harder hitting genres. They may not be for you if you are a very soft player due to the fact that they are quite bigger and a bit heavier than regular 5a/5b sticks.

If I could change just one thing about these it would be the coating. I sweat quiite a bit while playing and these sticks have very bad grip due to the glossy finish. But using some drumstick wax has greatly improved the grip.

Overall, a really good product.

Power and Durability.
Anonymous 11.11.2016
A very thick and short stick perfect for heavy playing in rock and metal.

I like to use this stick to practice my rudiments, as the thickness helps develop endurance and speed.

Quality is A+ as you expect from Vic Firth.

My only con with this for me is the white paint which is just my opinion, you might think it makes it cooler! Luckily it doesn't change the feel of the stick which I've seen happen with a few other colored sticks.

This stick can take a beating as well, perfect if you're a heavy hitter using rim shots a lot.

Consistent beats

These drum sticks are very good and produce nice sounds. Be it on skin strokes or ring shots, it is what I expected, and what I needed. It is a medium heavy grip that I use for rock and Brazilian music.

MW
beefy sticks. i love them
Mitchell W. 27.11.2014
the first thing i noticed about these sticks was the weight. they are by far the biggest and heaviest sticks i have ever encountered. the size and weight are not a hindrance, actually the extra weight gives the stick more momentum and makes it easier to get very fast single stroke rolls out of it. the next thing i noticed is that the paint job makes it slippery when you have any moisture on your hands. so sweat from playing or condensation from a drinks bottle could potentially result in you dropping the sticks. the last thing i noticed was the insane quality. i bought these sticks over 2 months ago and have played lots of metal with them aswell as jazz and pop. i have yet to break one. they are very robust and will not break easily.

a great stick, i will order some more if i ever break the 2 pairs i have.
