Vic Firth HB Heritage Brushes

I've been through so many pairs of brushes in my career, trying out all sorts of styles and makes. These brushes are just the best, unbeatable and fantastic sounding. Just the perfect mix of clarity, dexterity and that smooth old school brush sound whilst stirring. They last a long time which is great as mine regularly take a beating 8 shows a week. This is a replacement pair for my last set which have done me a long time! They're brilliant.

they are good but i had trouble with the rubber handles..
they started to become sticky.. and when i mean sticky it's not from my hands being dirty or something..it's the rubber material that's starting to "kind of" decompose i guess ????...
if i push my nail through it the rubber comes apart..
i only had this for half an year..

Vic Firth has yet to disappoint me, and these brushes are another great product.

I'd had the white WB's for a long time until they broke, and wanted to try out a different pair. These are softer, which makes playing double strokes a little bit more tricky, so I had to get used to that. When I did, I realized that the softness really makes for a good brush sound - precise yet mellow, soft yet bright. I really like the handle as well - the material is rubbery and better for grip than that of WB's.

This is a really nice pair of brushes, I recommend it!

I use these when playing ballads. I haven't heard a better sound on the snare but also on the cymbals. Its really 100% guarantee! These brushes are the best! Great for acoustic gigs, with a good grip and a nice finish.

Im a student in a mixed jazz and pop institute. Ive used these brushes for over 4 years now and I'm still very happy with them. I would describe the brushes as medium stiffness. Not the best for the lightest playing or louder (pop)groove playing, but perfect for most jazz orientated applications! After longer use the housing came a bit loose of the inner metal part, also, the bristles can bend when stored incorrectly. However, I would say they hold up well enough.

I would recommend them as 'daily driver' brushes!

Great brushes, exactly what I was expecting. Typical good quality product by Vic Firth.

I tried a few other models and brands for brushes, but I've always come back for these. Great sound, very flexible and comfortable to play with, they've become an extension of my hand. Don't just use them for Jazz!

I'm no brushes expert nor can i compare it with other brushes. These brushes sound very good and i like the way how they feel. I mostly play jazzy stuff so i think they will hold well over time. Not sure how the rubber cover will respond to hard hitting over time.

this was a total impulse buy, need to get better at drums first lol, but the quality is excellent.

These are excellent quality brushes in my opinion, and the slightly heavier gauge wire is perfect for being able to add a little volume to brush work. Great rubber handles and adjustable spread.
