Vic Firth SDW Dave Weckl Signature

I use these sticks for my pad work. Perfectly balanced weight. Slightly heavier and longer than the 5a's I play with. , I find this to be a little like adding the extra 5 bpm to your practice and warm up.

These are probally the best sticks I've ever had. A friend recommended these to me and ever since I have used them. These drumsticks are very light and thin, so therefore they are best for quick, fast, and long pices. They're also good for long drumrolls and smashing the symbals. My expirience with these sticks has been great! If you buy these I would recommend the ones with the wooden tips. Where I bought mine they were expensive, but on Amazon.com you can get them for a decent price. Compared to my old ones these are way better.

Used this stick for years, great weight and size, also durable. They are very well balanced and bring out the best in my cymbals. I know everyone has their favourite size/weight for sticks but if these are even close to what you require I would recommend you give them a try.

These have become my favourite sticks. Nice weight and feel to them. I have plenty of room to change up the balance point depending on how I want to play.

Anyone who knows anything about drums will know Dave Weckl is one of the modern greats, but how do his sticks compare? Honestly, these things are amazing! The bounce you get from the overall weight and head is brilliant for doubles and rolls - and you know these are gonna be good quality coming from Vic Firth so you don't even have to worry about that.

I have been using these sticks for about a year now. At my local music store these sticks cost me £20 a pair, I couldn't believe it when I saw the price on here. They have a great feel to them and the tips are brilliant for funky hi-hat grooves. When I buy Vic Firth sticks I know the pair are going to be matched and balanced perfectly. They haven't let me down once. I would encourage every drummer to at least try these sticks as in my opinion are much better than standard 5As. I use them for funk, jazz, latin, rock, pop, hip hop, gospel and every other style. Give them a try.

Used these for many years. a little heavy at the top third, great definition on the tip. recommended along with the evo.
