these are really nice looking (if you still want to keep the room sexy) and def do the job absorbing mid and high frequencies. I glued them to the ceiling early reflections area, it was a bit tough from the beginning then I was putting more glue and was pressing for few more minutes to make sure they stick tightly..Can recommend them for sure! Perfect compromise for a ceiling between the design and absorbing freq range

Ok, that worked!

I was hesitant about spending so much on some pieces of white foam but read some reviews and went for it. I have a home studio in the garage. Its a square box and sounds terrible. I had set up my mix gear and speaker and found the mix picture far from clear. I was getting all sorts of frequency bounce in that room. Then I tried to put up these very light Vicoustic foam pieces. I found the "first reflection" point and put a few pieces there, then 1 behind each speaker. Things were getting clearer. I hung one above my head and one directly in front of me. The picture became super clear! These little critters work and they are well worth the money. My advise if your thinking about them for home studio is get the "first reflection points" and then experiment until you find the right spots to put them. Really worked for me and my little studio sounds great now. Kind of incedible.
FYI I hung them on simple screws on the wall. Much easier to patch and clean if I want to move later. The glue idea tears the wall up.
I totally would buy these again knowing how much they changed the sound in my room for the better.

Really happy with the white (a bit grey) ones, they look awesome on the walls.
