Truetone C35 1 Spot 3.5mm Converter

Got this so I could use a standard power supply for an older DOD chorus which has a 3.5mm jack power connection. Have used similar products on Tubescreamers and Rats previously. It works exactly as it should and seem to be built well. I would definately recommend this to anyone that needs it for a pedal, or other equipment, that uses a 3.5mm jack for power connection. Also I would not recommend it if you dont need it. Goodbye.

A few old pedals I have use the old jack power plug.

The adapter is pretty good material and looks like it will last. I just leave it plugged into the Rat with a bit of gaffa tape sticking it down so I don't forget it.

Anyway around 5¤ is cheaper and less hassle than drilling and fitting a new power plug on the Rat, so I can't complain.

Good adapter, just surprised nobody made it into a single plug type adapter.

Got what I was expecting.
This item can power a RAT pedal (for example) with a Boss-like power supply (the usual type).

No connectivity issues. Keep in mind that some pedals iclude the adapter in the box (such as the ibanez tubescreamer). So make sure to check that before you but it, although it's not bad to have a spare.

I had a bunch of 80s DOD pedals - they're dirt cheap and they sound great - but they're mostly missing the battery flap from the back, and they use a 3mm jack input for power. Nightmare.

This cable converts the common Boss style power plug into the DOD one. Simple as that. Work perfectly, and they add a couple of inches to the cable length.

I have a soft spot for DOD pedals and these adapters are required if you are using a standard power supply with BOSS type connector.
The adapter seems well made. I am using it on a daisy chain with other (non-DOD) pedals and it works just fine.
It is quite pricey, but there are not really any alternatives. I would like a daisy chain with just these connectors.

As a user of a ProCo rat pedal this Adapter is essential for anyone with a Daisy Chain or a Power Supply unit if you don't want to use batteries anymore. Works without any problems and never left my Pedal Board until today. Some Electro Harmonix Pedals use that Jack as well.
