Incorrect polarity, otherwise fine

I bought this to power a Harley Benton MiniStomp with a 9V battery when playing over a Bose S1 in a mobile setting with no wall power. Works fine if I use a polarity inverter cable in between, i.e. this thing has minus outside, not inside as advertised. Probably a quality issue with production, at least one other reviewer had the same observation.
