Having always been a sucker for reverse effects since realising I could unscrew the shell of a cassette tape and reverse the reels, several ahhm... eons ago, I was obviously going to investigate the world of reverse reverb at some point. Wishing to record some dream pop/shoegaze type stuff in Logic Pro X, I checked out the options via YouTube reviews and shootouts, coming to the conclusion that the Mooer was bit glitchy sounding, while the Source Audio Ventris was great for high-end stereo reverbs, but very pricey. I decided that the Lore was a great all-round package which, while not suiting everyone, would definitely be useful for the kinds of 'verb saturated sound I was interested in (as well as the odd synth or vocal treatment).
The Lore arrived in a nice package complete with free plec and funky stickers and, having had a quick exploration of the five programmes, I found the sounds available to be very cool and user-friendly, and the pedal responds well to subtle tweaking of the knobs while in use. One might expect a stereo out for a pedal in this price range but you can easily work around this if you need to.
To summarise, while this isn't a pedal for everyone, and you'll have to work within the parameters of each 'programme', this would be fantastic tool for anyone who wants to rock that MBV/Slowdive/Post-Whatever vibe, whether in their DAW or pedalboard.
