All bass guitars are beautiful and sound good. But at a certain moment you hit on a Warwick... The emotional part of your brain sends you following messages: "Look at those frets! A product of jewelry! And the quality of the wood! Made in Germany is always a guarantee." The reaction of the rational part of the brain is immediate: "You don't need it! You are a beginner and that's a professional instrument, so it's on a too high level for your capacities. Your entry level bass is enough, for you!". Everybody knows how such discussions with yourself end: I purchased it and now I'm so happy with my not rational choice! The sound is on the highest level, the setup possibilities meet every musical need, the accuracy is astonishing. The 2 huge humbukers will irritate those aggressive drummers who think they are the superstars of the band/music school. The bass is a heavyweight but this means solidity.
Besten Dank, Thomann, Nr. 1 in der Musikwelt.
P.S.: the drummer kindly asked me to turn off the humbukers, because the resonance that my Corvette was producing on his snare drum was disturbing him.
