Bit of a disappointment

I have just upgraded to this recommended make. So far it plays fine just like the old Harvey Benton fretless, this latter at more than quarter of the price. Unpacked, strapped and plugged in (brand new Cordial CR13PP Silent cable) and turned on. No sound. The guitar jack plug socket was loose and crackling, but got it working eventually but it still can cut out. Adjusted pots and the knobs fell off. Superglue will be needed. What else hasn't been fixed correctly? The toggle switch cracks when used despite the new Cordial lead. Can't say I'm impressed.
