I spent a lot of time looking for speaker stands that would not look ugly or too industrial for usage in my living room. These are very sleek.
I was worried when I read about some complaints about these resonating too much, but I just used a pair of foam pads and I don't hear anything of concern. The manufacturer does not recommend filling them with sand, but for hobbyist work or just entertainment purposes that's absolutely fine.
Stability could be better of course, I can wiggle them a bit, but it's nothing to be concerned about. I don't have any pets or kids, so it's hard to estimate how large a risk that would pose, but if you don't expect to bump into them all the time, they are stable enough. At least I don't think you'd find significantly more stable stands in this price category.

Great but...

They're slightly resonant (being hollow - they ring if you tap them, indicated vibrations from the speakers might bleed and colour the sound). It would be good to have these accompanied by some sort of rubber clamp / vibration diffuser - I'm not putting sand in them lol (potentially a new product?).
This is such a nit-pick as they're not THAT resonant, and I'm unsure if it even effects the sound, especially with iso pads. Also the platforms are a bit small for 8inch monitors, but i've made it work. You might be able to get larger platforms, I'm currently not sure, but they're easy to detach.
Besides that, they're great quality and they also look fantastic. The base is sleek yet very heavy - the stands definitely wont topple over, even with the maximum height adjustment.
I believe these are well worth the price. Especially if you can kill the resonance with something.

Looks good, wobbly.
ThomannReviewer 12.04.2025
They look great, but the stands have a wobble to them even when everything is at its tightest. Tolerances are ok. Compared to the other Wavebone products these are a little bit of a let down.
Unfortunately there was an error. Please try again later.
