There's no way to change the polarity of the TRS jack that is directly soldered into a hardwired cable. If your hardware can change polarity, then you're fine. Otherwise, consider one with either switchable polarity, or one that has just a jack socket on the unit, and you can shimmy up a Tip-Ring crossover cable of your own should you need to invert polarity.
Otherwise, lots of travel, solid, and a good base to grip the floor well.
