I was using my Yamaha keyboard for quite a while with some basic X-stand, which was not too convenient. First, the keyboard was not quite stable. Second, the height of the keys was a bit too high for me to play while seated. And third, there was no convenient room for legs beneath the keabord. Al the three concerns are gone now as I have the L-2C stand from Yamaha that exactly fits my keaboard.
It was exceptionally easy to assemble and fit (5 minutes).
It is very stable.
It gives plenty of room for legs whet you seat at the keaboard.
The keyboard is a little lower than on the X-stand because the body of the keabord sits probably an inch lower than in case of the X-stand.
Overall, it's just the right thing if you have a compatible Yamaha keaboard.
Highly recommended.

Yamaha L-2C Keyboard Stand
António 19.01.2014
I like this stand because it is realy stable (it screws directly at the botom of the compatible keyboard), which means it will never slip. It's also very nice to have room for your legs, unlike those X shaped stands. Its very lightweight. The keys rise approximately 76cm from the floor.

Perfect!

Purchased for a Yamaha E-303 Keyboard. This stand cost as much as the keyboard (which isn't very good...) but it worth the price. It arrives in a cardboard box, read assembled, so all I had to do was flip the keyboard and screw the stand into 3 holes on the bottom of it.
As this is made for that range of keyboards (amongst others) it of course fit perfectly.
It leaves the keyboard slightly too low for me to use standing (I'm 180cm), but is great when seated.
As the stand is not of a criss-crossing variety, there is plenty of space for your legs under the stand.
