Better than rubber cymbals, don't expect great sound.
Nounce 05.11.2020
I use these with my electronic kit for the feel, not the sound.

The hi hats can be really sharp (I use ear protection because of them) the 16' and 18' are decent, nothing bad or nothing good to say about the sound. I use them both as crashes.

The feeling however over rubber cymbals is night and day. You get the attack and rebound you would get from a normal cymbal, so what you learn translates perfectly to a real kit. Although they are heavier and you feel that.
A positive to that is that you will probably never break these.

I would recommend low volume cymbals for anyone who would get noise complaints and doesn't practice as much because of it. Would I recommend the Zildjan ones? I don't know, I haven't tried the other brands, I think about switching out the HH's sometimes tho.

Excellent Practising Tool!
Anonymous 28.05.2016
I will start with the downside. I waited 6 months to get them! But it worth the wait! These babies are the best practising tool for the drummer that doesnt live in a basement!
First of all its the best simulation for actual physical playing. You get to use the hihat and all its functions, unlike the rubber things and the plastic electronic cymbals.
Than there is the feel! The are more lightweight then normal cymbals, but you get the rebound, the stick control and definition of an actual cymbal.
Build quality is excellent.
Throw the on your kit, buy a bunch of silent strokes and practise your self out!
Fully recomended!

The best option for quiet practice.
SJ92 22.08.2020
I bought these to use at home as my neighbours were complaining about my acoustic kit. Although I considered getting an electric kit, I opted for low volume cymbals paired with Remo silent stroke heads as I wanted to maintain the feel of an acoustic kit. They work perfectly and I've had no complaints.

Pros:
- Far quieter than normal cymbals.
- Play and feel like normal cymbals.
- The best sounding low volume cymbals on the market.
- Could also be used for quieter gigs, such as lounge or café shows.

Cons:
- They aren't completely silent, so this is something to consider if you're looking a silent practice option.

Amazed!
Anonymous 26.07.2016
The best gift i could make myself for my birthday! Totally worth the money! I live in an apartment and i need to practice without disturbing my neighbors. But i also need good stick response and dynamics! These cymbals have both. I loved the Hi hat sound when played on foot. I think it's much better than my normal Hi hat. I really can't find any cons on this product. It is, in my opinion, the best solution If you need to practice and not disturb others.

e - cymbals killer
dkentras 04.12.2019
ride: almost excellent, hats: the loudest ones when you 're using silent heads on the set, crash: kind of dissappointed by cause you really have to hit it in order to get the sound out of it... overall? solid decision over an e-drum set cymbals responsivewise.

Totally worth it

I compared three different sets of low volume, and these were the most expensive but definitely worth the price. Very good sound, good dampening and most importantly neighbors approved!

Very good low volume cymbal set for good price
mbajda 03.09.2020
I practice on this when i started my adventure with drums. Then when I bought my own drum set i used dumpers to lower cymbal volume, but after getting some money i bought those with Remo silent stroke mesh heads and it was great investment. Finally cymbals had good sound and i could play without bothering rest of the family :)

Impressed indeed
TheBouff 24.01.2021
I must admit i was a bit unsure about ordering these for practicing at home.... but i should not have been. these are excellent

Really well made, have a good weight to them so they behave like real cymbals when hit, they swing and decay nicely.

And i would agree they probably do lower the volume by about 80%
