It is a product that polishes, cleans and protect all in one application. You need a lot of cloths though since it is hard to get the black "muck" out of the tonal grooves. There seems to bee an endless amount of oxidation... Maybe it is the three-in-one function that makes it hard to remove it all since it also protects the surface? It takes a lot of elbow grease to obtain a perfect result. It is a lot easier to use on smoother sufaces than on cymbals with deep tonal grooves.
