Great Hi Hat, but crack

I ordered this hihat on recommendation from friend and great cymbalsmith here in Croatia. Unfortunately, top cymbals have few cracks so I thurn the cymbals back to Thomann. But before that, I try to play it and that is awesome piece! If you look for a old-school type of sound, very dark and mellow, that is it! Very soft and shimmer, great feel and sound for 60' and 70' soul, funk, jazz. After few minutes of playing, I found myself smile like a child. So, I returned this back and order the same Zultan Dune hihat. Shit happens, but sound is great! So, I can't wait to receive the new one!

Very dark and trashy just like advertised, but it has a weird ringing/buzzing which is really offputting.

Overall good quality hi hats with a decent balance between a washy, dark sound, but still relatively defined.
The only issue one might have with these, is that tightly closed they have a certain resonant lo-mid frequency, that might annoy if you play quiet and precise music. Also, they're not really loud for 15" hats.
For the price you can't complain.
