Great quality!

Nice set of replacement strings. Nicely packaged and as always delivered promptly by Thomann. Always appreciate the top quality shipping services provided and the great contact and communication one can have with them.
The strings packaging was itself very professional and very nice and made me feel reassured about the quality of the strings themselves.
I choose these strings as they were the ones which came upon my ukulele from the day I purchased it. It made sense to replace them with the ones I knew and was most comfortable with. Because of this I was already aware of the great quality of the strings themselves.
I, from day one, found these strings to be extremely easy to play and found them to be very comfortable under the fingers as one plays. They also lasted a sizable length of time. In the past with my guitars, I am a guitarist mainly,I have found that as a result of the oils in my skin that the strings wear extremely quickly. However with these strings I was impressed and surprised to find the length of time of which they lasted and they didn't just last they stayed live and I did find them to go dead whatsoever.
I would highly recommend these strings to anybody looking for a good replacement set.

P
The best ukulele strings available
Peter7875 14.04.2015
In my opinion, Aquila make the best strings for your ukulele. The quality of the string itself is consistently high, they are nicely packaged, and they will make even a cheap uke sound good. I don't trust, and would not buy any uke that doesn't come equipped as standard with Aquila strings, I see it as a stamp of quality for the instrument and a vote of confidence by the maker.

I purchased these sets of strings as spares because I was going on a long holiday which involved leading some ukulele workshops for beginners. I give my ukes as lot of daily use, but I have never had an Aquila string break or fail in any way. However I thought that with heavy handed beginners thrashing away on ukes I should expect some string breakages, and therefore have some spares ready. Needless to say, the spare strings are still unopened in their packet, and all the ukuleles in use (equipped with Aquilas of course) suffered no string breakages, despite some terrible abuse by the students!

I nearly forgot to say, these strings not only have a lovely sound, but they are the best for staying in tune once they have settled in. And finally I should add that Thomann offer the huge range of Aquila strings at the best price you can find.

Excellent sound

These are the only strings I'll buy for my Soprano uke. I originally learned to play with the stock strings that came with my first uke, and it was a great morale booster when I realised how much better everything sounded once I switched to Aquila strings.

The best ukulele strings ever. It is known. The C string takes some time to get at it's full length / stay tuned so play a lot.
