The Arturia V Collection X is an extensive plugin bundle for keyboarders and producers. The library of this version includes 39 different instruments, ranging from analogue and digital synthesizers, samplers, organs, and pianos, as well as Arturia's Augmented range for hybrid sounds with acoustic instruments. The focus is clearly on emulations of vintage synthesizers, including some well-known classics by Moog, Roland, Oberheim, ARP, Yamaha, and others. These plugins don't merely emulate the originals, they are also enhanced by some practical features while seamlessly integrating into a DAW-based studio environment, and - in addition to their typical retro sounds - offer plenty of sounds used in modern productions for all kinds of genres. App tutorials featuring hands-on introductions for the specific functions of the respective instruments enable synth newcomers to get the most out of the plugins' potential.

Virtual synths and keyboards

Arturia utilises various technologies for its instruments, with many synthesizers working with the custom-developed TAE (True Analogue Emulation) engine, while other instruments use physical modelling such as Piano V and Stage-73, or are based on sophisticated sample content with complementary synthesis features, like the Augmented series. The synthesizers on offer here feature everything from patch-capable modular systems, polyphonic flagship models, and cult synthesizers through to bassliners with sequencers. Sound enthusiasts can use three vintage samplers to tinker with their original libraries or with own creations in a vintage style, while keyboarders can enjoy authentic-sounding electric pianos and organs as well as clarinets and mellotrons. All instruments come in established plugin formats, offer NKS support, and can be played as standalone instruments without using host software.

Sounds for every genre

Thanks to the broad spectrum of plugins and sounds covered by the Arturia V Collection X, users can play a wide range of different genres with these instruments, such as Dance, Hip-Hop, and Pop as well as Rock, Ambient, and film scores. Musicians and producers working for different clients and on various projects are more than well-equipped with the V collection, while the instruments' existing libraries can be enhanced with optionally available sound banks to be used in more specialised projects. And even if users don't need all of the instruments in the V Collection, e.g. if organs or pianos are not used in their productions, the extensive bundle still offers an attractively priced alternative to purchasing the plugins individually.

About Arturia

Arturia's success story began with software emulations of well-known analogue synthesizers such as the Moog Minimoog, Sequential Prophet-5, and Oberheim SEM. The popular software instruments included in the V Collection are still flagship products of the French developer today. Over time, Arturia has gradually expanded its range and now also offers a host of hardware devices, ranging from synthesizers and keyboard controllers to sequencers. Since then, the former software developer has thus also become a household name in the world of analogue synthesizers and other equipment.

United in Analog Lab

The Analog Lab Pro software included with the Arturia V Collection combines the individual characteristics of the Arturia instruments into one streamlined plugin, with an intuitive browser enabling users to find their desired sounds quickly and efficiently. Macro controllers allow instant modifications of the most important preset features and effects through the use of pre-made mappings of Arturia's proprietary MIDI controllers, and for a deeper dive into sound modification, the respective plugin interfaces can also be accessed directly. With the Analog Lab Pro software, users can create individual playlists on their laptop, especially for use in concerts, thereby preparing the required sounds for their songs in the order in which they will be played during the show. And with the plugin's Stage View function, all lists as well as the macro parameters are displayed in a clearly laid-out manner, providing straightforward access at any time.

Der Traum jedes Synth Fans

Ich habe mit das Astrolab gekauft, und zusammen mit der V Collection wird daraus eine wahre Wunderwaffe für die Bühne. Das Astrolab ermöglicht es OHNE PC oder Mac die Sounds und Plugins der V Collection abzuspielen. Um alle 10.000 Sounds durchzuhören habe ich 5 volle Tage benötigt. Jetzt muss ich die Favoriten noch mal sortieren. EMU II , Fairlight Sounds, die wirklich jeder aus den 80ern kennt. Was man noch erwähnen muss ... Hier sind auch ganz verrückte, spezielle Sounds dabei, die man auf keinen Hardware Synth heute findet ( und das ist auch gut so). Die perfekte Bereicherung, wenn man schon Korg, Roland und Yamaha als Synth stehen hat. Die Bedienung ist natürlich kinderleicht. Habe kein einziges Mal ein Handbuch oder Tutorial benötigt.

Mein lieber Schwan!

Da kommt Einiges zusammen. Es macht eine riesige Freude, die unglaubliche Vielfalt der Klänge zu erkunden. Arturia ist nicht nur eine beeindruckende Sammlung von analogen Perlen gelungen sondern auch ein intuitiv einfach handhabares Tool, welches den sogenannten "Workflow" nicht unnötig bremst. Eine feine Sache, die wirklich Spaß macht und Genießermomente am laufenden Band hervorruft!
