This mic delivers studio sound quality but in a live setting. The feedback rejection is even better than a 58. The build quality is superb and handling noise is non existant. I can't recommend this mic enough. I will never use anything else live from now on. Thomann's delivery was perfect as usual.

Ce micro est d'un naturel quasi parfait, très bonne sensibilité, il reproduit la voix telle qu'elle est et c'est ce qu'on lui demande. Personnellement je le préfère nettement à un kms105 qui surjoue le haut du spectre et qui accroche plus facilement. Ce vx10 est chaud, naturel, présent, bien fini, avec une belle boîte en bois, que demander de plus ? Si... peut-être un filtre anti-pop un poil plus efficace.

This microphone is almost natural, very good sensitivity, it reproduces the voice as it is and that's what we ask of it. Personally I much prefer it to a kms105 which overplays the top of the spectrum and which grips more easily. This vx10 is warm, natural, present, well finished, with a beautiful wooden box, what more could you ask for? Yes... maybe a slightly more effective pop filter.

Rahmenbedingungen: Getestet wurde das VX-10 bei uns im Proberaum verstärkt durch den Goldmike 9844, komprimiert durch den SPL DynaMaxx 9735 und schließlich haben wir noch einen leichten Standard Hall vom TC Electronic M-One XL darauf liegen. Wir sind eine 2-Mann Akustik-Combo mit genau 1 Gitarre und so legen wir verstärktes Augenmerk auf den 2-stimmigen Gesang und somit auch auf die Qualität der Mikrophone in die wir singen.
Bestellt habe ich das VX-10 um es "gegen" das Sennheiser E935 zu testen. Gegen das Neumann KMS 105 für die 1. Stimme kommt es sowieso nicht an - dachte ich anfangs zumindest...
Also alles ausgepackt und schon die erste Überraschung: Das VX-10 kommt in einer schönen, wertigen Holzschatulle daher in der alles fein säuberlich untergebracht ist Anleitung, großer Audix Aufkleber, Halterung und das Mikro selbst. Dies liegt sehr schön in der Hand durch seine schlanke Form, ist überraschend leicht, wirkt aber sehr robust...also sehr bühnentauglich!
Nachdem ich gelesen habe dass Größen wie Sting und Alanis Morissette dieses Mic benutzen, war ich natürlich auf den Klang gespannt. Aber auch hier kann das Mic voll und ganz überzeugen! Hätte es so ähnlich wie unser E935 geklungen, wäre es Dank 30-Tage Money Back wieder nach Treppendorf gegangen, aaaber zu meiner Überraschung schlägt es dieses um Längen. Es ist viel druckvoller und klarer über den gesamten Frequenzbereich. Diese Klarheit im Sound ist es was mich auch so an unserem KMS-105 überzeugt hat. Das KMS-105 hat vielleicht noch die Nase vorn, da es in den Höhen noch etwas brillianter ist als das VX-10, aber was Audix hier auf dem Markt hat ist schon sehr sehr gut und lässt sich absolut auf eine Ebene mit dem Neumann stellen.
Diese Qualität hebt jetzt noch unsere 2.Stimme merklich an, so dass das Gesangsgefühl eindeutig besser wird und man sehr schön mit den Stimmen spielen kann.
FAZIT: Das Ding wird behalten weil es qualitativ und von den Soundeigenschaften einfach überzeugt. Audix hat hier ein sehr schönes Gesangsmikrophon gebaut. Danke!

General conditions: The VX-10 was tested in our rehearsal room, amplified by the Goldmike 9844, compressed by the SPL DynaMaxx 9735 and finally we also have a light standard reverb from the TC Electronic M-One XL on it. We are a 2-man acoustic combo with exactly 1 guitar and so we pay more attention to the 2-part singing and therefore also to the quality of the microphones into which we sing. I ordered the VX-10 to test it “against” the Sennheiser E935. It's no match for the Neumann KMS 105 for the 1st vote anyway - at least that's what I thought at first... So everything was unpacked and the first surprise: The VX-10 comes in a beautiful, high-quality wooden box in which everything is neatly stored There are instructions, a large Audix sticker, a holder and the microphone itself. This sits nicely in the hand thanks to its slim shape, is surprisingly light, but seems very robust...so very suitable for the stage! After reading that greats like Sting and Alanis Morissette used this mic, I was of course excited about the sound. But here too the mic is completely convincing! If it had sounded anything like our E935, it would have gone back to Brückendorf thanks to the 30-day money back, but to my surprise it beats this one by far. It is much punchier and clearer across the entire frequency range. This clarity in the sound is what convinced me about our KMS-105. The KMS-105 may still be ahead because it is a little more brilliant in the treble than the VX-10, but what Audix has on the market is very, very good and can absolutely be put on a par with the Neumann . This quality now noticeably increases our second voice, so that the singing feeling is clearly better and you can play with the voices very nicely. CONCLUSION: The thing is kept because it is simply convincing in terms of quality and sound properties. Audix has built a very nice vocal microphone here. Thanks!
