I use different DAWs depending on the project, and I have to admit PT is the most professional, complete, and precise. I love it.
That said, 200 bucks for a renewal plan is overpriced.
I own a perpetual license, and what I get with this is just a yearly update, not to mention the fact that Studio doesn't even have the full features that Ultimate has.
I'm stuck with it as a professional tool, but I can't say I love the Avid policy.
