I would say that this is one of the best mouthpieces for people who are either transitioning from lower-brass (euphonium/baritone/trombone) or someone who might have a bit bigger lips. Just after few hours of practicing on it I was able to get almost full range that I was able to play on euphonium so I would recommend it for sure. Compared to other trumpet mouthpieces it demands a bit more air than regular 5C or 7C but its a bit harder to play upper range.

Must have for beginner, I think

After playing for few years and stopping since I failed high notes a trumpeter offered to help. Gave me a couple of mouthpieces to test. I sounded open and effortless on 1 c not necessarily this one, but I opted for this one and still enjoys playing on it. But as you know, trumpet playing is hard work.
