Good all-rounder

With a slightly deeper cup and more open backbore, this is a good option for a 3c player looking for a slightly darker sound without impacting range and response too much. Personally I find it a good orchestral all-rounder, but a little too tiring for theatre/function band playing. That said, you only have to look at Thomas Gansch (Mnozil Brass) who allegedly plays a heavyweight 3b to know that it is definitely possible!

warm sound

This mouthpiece is good to make warm sound, especially, when you play small instrument like Eb trumpet, this will be very good for some pieces.

Der Kessel ist etwas tiefer als beim 3c und V-Förmig.Klingt Hornmässiger und dunkler.Entschärft die spitzen Höhen.Benötigt beim Spielen auf der Trompete etwas mehr Arbeit für die Lippen.

Cercavo un bocchino che avesse un suono importante ma che mi garantisse anche stabilità nei momenti di tensione o di affaticamento.
Il 3B mette insieme perfettamente le due cose.

Venivo da un 3c 25/24, sono passato all'1/4c 25/24 e infine sono approdato al 3b e sono contentissimo del suono e della sensazione che dà sull'imboccatura.
