Perfect present for amp noobies

The quality of the book is remarkable. The content is well organized, the pictures and the graphic examples are very illustrative. The book describes the fundamentals for amp electronics, e.g. tube types, components, transformers, basic circuits, speakers etc. Small descriptions of legendary amps and amp makers. You can find basic amp maintenance and a buying guide. This book is perfect present for a person who just enter the world of guitar amplifiation, very good for building a great technical knowledge. Don't expect any upper level topics like heating circuit for tubes or measuring guide for
workpoint adjustment. But overall I can only recommend this book.
