I bought a pair of these as my first pa system to get me started doing DJ Gigs. They worked effortlessly for over a year before one woofer started distorting extremely badly. They were never abused or used outside of recommended volume level.
Thomann gladly repaired the faulty unit and even though it took over a month, the return was made very easy for me as the unit was well within warranty.
The sound quality is good although nothing exceptional and once you turn the bass up to a desirable level they clip very easily.
Both speakers volume levels are different even when adjusted to the same line on the gain knob. Not a huge problem but it can get annoying if you are trying to get them to the same level. They tend to get very hot when in use, even without input signal.
Volume is on the lower side and many times I have had to turn them up to their maximum when playing in a medium sized room.
All in all a very good speaker to consider on a budget or as a beginner. They served my needs well and handled gigs without incident.

Behringer B115D
Anonymous 22.09.2014
We bought two B115D units to replace a PA system we have been using for the last ten years. We were looking for passive cabs with 15" drivers.
We came across these on the Thomann web site and after reading the 'specs' we could not believe the price, so we checked the reviews for the B115D's and found that they were rated quite highly.
After discussing the pros and cons, we decided to 'give them a go'.
The units were quickly delivered and we tried them out at our next gig.
The speakers performed very well, they delivered good tonal response with very clear definition and good sound projection - loud and clear.
The build quality is good with a strong cabinet and surprisingly light.
Behringer have obviously given the design some thought because the handles seem to be in the correct positions for ease of handling. (There are a lot of speakers around that seem to have been designed by robots because they are not easy to manoeuvre) - these are very good.
we were so impressed with the overall performance of the B115D's that we ordered another one to use as a monitor, can't get a better reference than that! +++++

Lovely !
Myron 02.01.2020
I paid around £177 for one speaker. Please remember 1000w is the peak, Behringer never release their RMS watt values, however very powerful and great product ! Good start up speakers, XLR and Jack Input, no RCA I think due to heavy power but can use an adaptor. My GUESS is the RMS is around 750W. Crisp clear quality with guests around 200. Behringer 1500XP subwoofer is good match with this. Good internal crossover feature with this subwoofer. Just try avoiding the speaker hitting the clip lights if you want this speaker to last long time!

Good power and price range

Building quality and features is very good. Very light speaker and it has 3 handles to transport or putting to a stand easily. You can use this this speaker also as monitor. I like that there is a 2 inputs - jack/XLR. You can put line or microphone directly to speaker and mixing desk is not required. Also this speaker has clip LED and max volume clip LED. Good thing is that you can put special wireless microphone system to speaker(sadly Thomann not selling this system right now).
Only minus is that max volume level the sound is little bit distorted and low bass is weak.
I suggest buy subwoofer also for DJ's or something. I am collecting money to buy another one with Mp3 player. One with Mp3 player and one without you can easily make converences and something similar or small performances with keyboard and microphone. You need only two power cables, one long signal cable and two input cables - compact and clean setup bundle :D
