Original DT-770 cable snapped near where it enters the earcup, so glad I found a replacement for it.
The replacement cable is a bit stiff, but it's not too bad. Hopefully this one will last, but if not, I know where to get a replacement.

Quality spare parts from Beyerdynamic
CED Nates 02.04.2024
After watching some tutorials on YT, I find this product easy to replace.
Tip to replace the cable :
- use a a soldering iron with a flat head
- Wires :
1. Black wire on the new cable equals copper-colored wire (old cable)
2. Middle part : red wire on the new cable equals red wire (old cable)
3. White wire on the new cable equals blue wire (old cable)
- do not desolder the copper and white wires from the right side of your headphones but do this :
- Cut the wires with scissors from the old cable
- Remove the old cable and place your new cable
- There will be a silver pin to remove with pliers
- Place the new cable.
- Put the new silver pin to hold the new cable (delivered with your new cable)
Solder the wires of your new cable on top of the wires from the right side of the headphones (copper cable and white cable on my headphones)
- Test your headphones to see if you got sound on both ears
- Put everything back
That's it ! Good luck

The right cable for you
SamBooko 07.06.2021
The cable of the DT770pro is now as new.
the spare parts of beyer are perfect and the prices are ok.
You can have a new headset with half of the price so do not waste your product if you can repair it!
Only hard part is the soldering since the colors of the cables have changed since years ago and i had problems in finding the right combination. keep in mind that if you solder too much the drivers are made of plastic and they tend to liquefy.

Replacement

Good replacement cable for beyerdynamic headphones. Cable is straight instead of coiled, which is better as it tugs less at the headphones, making it last longer. It also has a longer reach. Otherwise just like the original cable. Has to be soldered on.
