Black Lion Audio Revolution 6x6

The Revolution 6x6 is the US pro-audio specialist Black Lion's newest addition to its stable – another quite exceptional USB-C audio interface. Instead of just adding a few analogue I/Os to its highly acclaimed first product, the 2x2, the manufacturer has given the 6x6 an interesting and practical selection of interfaces that make the device suitable for any number of potential applications. In addition to a pair of mic/line inputs with very high-quality preamps and phantom power, there are two monitor outputs as well as both S/PDIF and OTG I/Os – for a total of six ins and six outs, plus two (!) separately controllable headphone jacks. This setup allows the 6x6 to be operated as a standalone DAC, a headphone amplifier, or a master clock (with Black Lion's MMC clock).
