The fit is poor. There is a stopper in the inside of the adapter which is situated too near the top and therefore doesn’t allow the cornet mouthpiece to enter the adapter far enough. The actual adapter fit to the trumpet is also poor and doesn’t bite the metal like you’d expect a mouthpiece to.

Um Missverständnisse auszuräumen möchte Ich darauf hinweisen dass meines Erachtens nach der Hersteller diesen Adapter ausschliesslich für die Verwendung seiner eigenen piccolo Mundstücke bemessen hat.
In Verbindung mit diesen ergibt sich ein perfekt angepasstes Teil wie aus einem Guss! Von Innen betrachtet ist der Übergang vom Mundstückschaft auf den Adapter absolut Nahtlos!
Die Fa. Thomann sollte bei der Produktbeschreibung darauf hinweisen,
da wie bereits angedeutet standard Schilke oder Bach etc. Kornettschäfte auf keinen Fall passen.
