I bought this as an upgrade from Hannabach's MT815 Black nylon strings on my Francisco Esteve classical guitar. D'Addario strings have never let me down. This is not an exception. Sound is loud and clear. Trebles are bright and crispy. But... you need some skills to set 1st and 2nd string. Usually i make two twists on the bridge for first two strings but it this time it was not enough. Strings slipped out very easily even on low tension so i had to tie a little knot at the end of the string just to be sure it stays in place. By far these are the best strings i've tried. If you want to try something different than nylon, this is it. Recommended!

Clear sounding, long lasting strings!

Some of the best strings i've tried. The trebles have a very bright, clear sound, that is not too harsh, and has an almost singing-like quality to it. And it's like they never wear out!
The bass strings also have a nice bright, but also full sound that matches the sound of the trebles quite well. They do however not last much longer than most other bass sets, but they're still very nice strings!
Intonation is perfect throughout the neck.
Well recommended!

Great loud clear sound with clear trebles

These are the best strings I've ever used on a classical guitar. Even louder than the Pro-Arte composite cores and they last just as long (I can get several months out of them).
I'm using them on a 70's Yamaha GC and they sound fantastic!
I would like D'Addario to make a "Lightly Polished" version (as per their EJ45LP) to reduce fret noise in recordings - these would be my perfect strings.

My daughter is using this strings for her classic guitar for music high school. She and her music teacher are very happy with it.
