Very good reeds

Lovely consistent box of reeds. Compared to the V12s that I used to play, I was able to use the same strength, but had much more consistent results. They kept their qualities well during the breakin process, and, with minimal adjustment, I got 7-8 reeds that I would happily play in public. I don’t feel the same amount of overtones as the V12s though, resulting in the lost star. Whether this tradeoff is worth it, I’ll still have to see! Depends what I order next…
