Wireless integration for Dante networks

With Audinate's Dante AVIO Bluetooth IO 2x1, users can easily integrate signals wirelessly via Bluetooth into Dante networks. This device is a further expansion of the manufacturer's portfolio of solutions for connecting non-integrated devices to a Dante audio network, which is widely considered a universal industry standard and enables professional-level scalable audio and video transmissions. This adapter for wireless transmission to Dante networks was designed for the recording and playback of stereo signals in remote applications. Despite its impressively compact size, it offers a fully functional Dante interface with high levels of user-friendliness. Moreover, it can also be used to transmit signals into any audio network – not just Dante – via the standard AES67 protocol.

Audio processing in high quality

The Audinate Dante AVIO Bluetooth IO Adapter 2x1 enables a whole-network bit-accurate reproduction of audio streams, an extremely low latency, and a sample-accurate synchronisation. Users can transmit the signal of one output and up to two audio inputs for stereo sound in 48kHz, 24-bit quality. The adapter signal is integrated into the network via a RJ45 connector. A latency of 1, 2, or 5 milliseconds can be set using the software Dante Controller. The wireless connection uses the Bluetooth profile A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), which supports mobile devices with an Android version higher than 1.5, as well as iOS devices from version 3.0. Older devices can be used with an A2DP adapter (sold separately), which can be connected via line or PIN jacks.

Flexible and professional playback in Dante networks

This adapter for wireless integration into Dante audio networks can be used with all devices like smartphones, tablets, or MP3 players – instantly, without installing any software first. This means that, while the Audinate Dante AVIO Bluetooth IO Adapter 2x1 can easily be used to create flawless conferences and presentations, it is an equally reliable tool for other, larger applications such as a P.A. – or anywhere sound is amplified. And it isn't necessary to configure the Dante network before use for every new application: As every operating system is supported, any audio signal can be easily integrated wirelessly into the user's existing Dante network. Bluetooth technology makes it easy to switch between local playback from a hand-held device to a conference system in a matter of seconds.
