I'm only just starting with bass trombone so I can't give a great comparison to any other Bass mouthpieces, However I can now play a much larger range with a much fuller sound,
Only downside is there are visible machining marks on the inside cup of my mouthpiece. Nothing you can feel, and it doesn't effect playability, but was just surprised in this from Denis wick. The silver plating is imaculate

bin mir beim Spielen mit diesem 1AL Heavytop oder dem 0AL oder 2AL als Normalausführung unklar, wieviel oder ob das Zusatzgewicht etwas ausmacht.
Als Amateur ist das denke ich eher wenig Unterschied. Die Abwägung der Grösse hängt wohl sehr mit dem gewünschten/erforderlichen Tonumfang ab; alles geht mit keinem Mundstück einfach so. Super Tiefe bei einem sehr grossen bezahlt man halt mit Abstrichen in der Höhe und umgekehrt.
