H
The best stands a drummer can have.

I bought a DW 5000 stand about a year and a half ago because I wanted something durable, after my previous hardware fell apart on me. Having used the 9000 range in rehearsal rooms at the university I studied at, I fell in love with the design and ease of use this hardware provides. However, their weight (and price) put me off. I started noticing these flush based stands from some professional drummers I admire and considered giving them a try, though I was concerned about the durability factor.

After taking the dive and getting a 6700 stand for Christmas, I can safely say that my concerns were not needed, as this hardware is incredibly durable, incredibly light, and most importantly... does what I need it to do.

These stands are priced fairly and you really do get what you pay for. This is the perfect stand for drummers who tale their kit to all of their gigs. I even carried one of mine on a bus, along with my cymbal bag, snare and stick bag to a recording session, they are that light and compact.

Do yourself a favour and replace your hardware with some these stands!

Retro style

*not for big cymbals (max 20" in my opinion)
*not for hard hitters

*Lightweight yet sturdy
*Retro and extremely cool looking
*Very easy to use
*Loads of "locks" for extra stability
*Makes your kit less cluttered with chunky stands
*Easy to carry 5/6 of these in a stand bag with no major weight
*Great cymbal tilter which locks in place and has many position options

Light and sturdy, Just what I need! I also love the look! Perfect for small gigs in places where there no need to hit very hard. But honestly I think this stand can be used in any situation I'm in. I usually never hit so hard!

I bought this as an upgrade from some decent pearl hardware and it doesn't disappoint. Very sturdy and well made. The flat base makes it nice and compact, looks great with my small jazz kit.
