Excelent double cymbal stand
Vicarious 19.05.2018
Of course what this double cymbal stands provides, you can do with a regular stand and an extra expansion arm.
However, I really liked the fact that this is a dedicated double cymbal stands, where both cymbal arms are the same distance from the center of the stand.

I put my 22" ride and 18" crash, and have no problems.
It doesn't look extra heavy, but it is very solid, and it doesn't give way to the weight.

Pros:
Great quality
Very stable
Great dedicated double cymbal desing

Cons:
None

very good!

In my opinion it was a very very good aquisition!
I use it for supporting 1 big and 1 small cymbal (crash 18" + 10"splash) and its perfect and super stable.
It is indeed an heavy hardware, (that can be a problem for people who travel a lot..)
Very solid, very stable, nice finishings and overall super pretty design. these new stands feature a new quick release, which makes change of cymbals and setting quick and super easy!

Rock solid & Practical!
Anonymous 28.03.2015
I am a massive fan of Sonor hardware and have recently made the change from 200 series to 4000 series. The difference is immense!
Of course it depends on your budget and weather you tour or not but I think the 4000 series is rock solid and extremely practical at a fairly reasonable price.

Great hardware as usual from sonor
RyanB92 15.12.2022
I got the sonor double tom stand a few years ago and it has served my needs perfectly, so I thought I'd get the double cymbal stand to compliment it and save some floor space.

Just like the tom stand, this cymbal stand is very stable and really easy to position. It holds my 17" and 19" crashes without wobbling and I can get a good few inches of space between the 2 cymbals if I so desire.

The same effect could be achieved with a regular boom stand and a cymbal arm, but I love the look of this stand and how sturdy and heavy duty it is. So if you're looking to save a bit if floor space, I'd definitely recommend this piece of kit.
