PDP stands for “Pacific Drums and Percussion” and is a brand founded by renowned manufacturer DW, which sells drums and hardware at affordable prices. With the 700 series, PDP offers hardware that is particularly lightweight for a compact and portable design, with all products boasting design elements and technical features that can also be found in DW’s professional hardware series. The 700 series also includes cymbal stands, hi-hat stands, snare drum stands, single and double bass drum pedals, and even fully equipped hardware sets, thus providing all the essential drum hardware components.

The perfect basis

The DW PDP 700 Hardware Set consists of five high-quality components that are particularly easy to transport on account of their low weight. All of the stands are equipped with robust double-braced legs and anti-slip rubber feet, and also feature a Glide Tilter mechanism for stepless tilting. The set also comes with a single pedal for the bass drum, which provides the winning formula thanks to its excellent performance characteristics, and features a footboard complete with rounded heel piece in a smooth finish. A steel base plate with retractable spikes is also included, as well as a conventional spring suspension arrangement for easy adjustability of the beater angle, footboard angle, and spring tension.

In terms of design and technical features, they reflect the professional hardware series available from DW, but carry a budget-friendly price tag, which primarily aims them at ambitious new drummers, music schools, and music teachers. About PDP

PDP is the acronym for ‘Pacific Drums and Percussion’ and is the name of a California-based drum and hardware manufacturer. The company was founded in 1999 by DW Drums to offer affordable instruments in addition to its own exclusive brand - and correspondingly expensive - DW drums. To reduce costs, the production of the drum shells was outsourced first to Mexico and later to China. PDP has always used many original parts from the DW series. The Concept Series, with shells made of 100% Maple, is currently the flagship in the portfolio. The Black Wax snare drums, available in six different sizes, are also part of the product range.

Super Hardware für einen guten Preis

Ich habe mir das Hardwarepaket zu meinem Gretsch Catalina gekauft. Das Paket das schon nach 2 Werktagen kam war gut verpackt. Alle Teile waren einzeln in einem Karton einpackt. Der Aufbau war sehr leicht da man nur die Teile zusammen stecken musste. Um das Bassdrumpedal einstellen zu können war schon ein Stimmschlüssel dabei was es sehr erleichtert hat. Die Hardware sieht sehr wertig aus und steht stabil auf dem Boden und rutscht nicht herum. Insgesamt finde ich das Produkt super und würde es wieder kaufen und kann es sehr weiter empfehlen.

Sólido y fiable

Estaba buscando un set de herrajes comparando marcas, precios... hasta que finalmente me decanté por PDP. El motivo: tengo otra batería de la misma marca desde hace 12 años y los herrajes están intactos.
ACIERTO TOTAL, no puedo estar más contento. Los herrajes son muy sólidos, seguros y bien construidos a la vez que livianos y fáciles de transportar.
Me han venido genial para el travel kit que quería montar, seguiré apostando por la marca.

El conjunto llega bien embalado, su montaje es sencillo y la relación calidad-precio muy buena. Los herrajes están bien fabricados, tornillos parecen duraderos y el conjunto sólido.
